Why we have to pray always.

Why do we have to pray all the time? Isn’t one prayer in a week enough?  Below I give seven reasons why we have to pray all times.

We pray so that we keep in constant contact with our Father in Heaven, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the person of the Holy Spirit.

You will lose contact with these three persons if you do not pray continually.

We have to pray that God’s Kingdom is established all over the earth.

There are still many places on earth where God’s Kingdom does not exist.  Instead, there is the devils kingdom in such dark places. This is why we have to pray now and then that God’s Kingdom comes to every place on earth.

God’s will for our lives.

God has a very good plan for each individual on earth but the Devil always wants to disrupt these plans. This is another reason we have to pray many times that God’s will is done in our lives as it is written in Heaven.

Satan always wants to tempt Christians.

The Devil always wants us to sin, and indeed many Christians end up sinning. For this reason we have to continually pray that God does not lead us into temptation but delivers us from all evil.

Asking for God’s forgiveness.

We commit many sins without knowing it. For this reason we have to continually go before God asking for his forgivenss

Not to be led into temptation.

Because of Satan’s accusations, God may actually lead us into situations of temptation where the Devil may tempt us (Mathew 4:1). We have to ask our Father now and then not to lead us into temptation.

Victory over demons.

You can only overcome demonic attacks by a life of continual prayers. You will find yourself defeated if you relax .
