Attract God’s sudden presence.
Dear reader, do you ever find yourself in situations where you desperately need God’s sudden presence? If your answer is yes, then I would like to share with you this extraordinary experience that happened to me one Sunday. Probably you can apply it in your daily life to bring God’s sudden presence wherever you are.
I was seated with my wife in the middle of a church congregation when I felt untouched by whatever was going on. I desperately needed God’s anointing to boost my church experience. What I did was to take my mind away from whatever was happening on the church stage. I closed my eyes and I could no longer see my wife and the whole church congregation. Everything around me disappeared. While in this state I carried the attention of my mind to Heaven. You may not believe this but God has given you the ability to imagine yourself in any holy situation. In my case, I imagined myself before our Father in Heaven. Since I did not know how God the Father actually looked like, I just imagined him as a brilliant sun as indicated in Habakkuk 3:4:
“His splendor was like the sunrise”
As I saw this brilliant sunshine of God’s presence, I prostrated myself and began worshipping God. In this state my spirit was completely carried away from the church service. My body was in our church but my spirit was carried away to Heaven. Then as I continued worshipping, some noise happened in our church. I think the congregation was clapping when my spirit suddenly left my heavenly experience and was brought back to my body in our church! Had it not been this loud clapping, I think it would have been my wife who would have woken me up at the end of the church service because my spirit was already in heaven worshipping God.
The mighty presence of God’s anointing.
As soon as my spirit was brought back to my body, I felt the mighty presence of the Holy Spirit. I felt like shouting “Hallelujah“. I felt like running to the pulpit to pray for the whole congregation so that they experience the same anointing. I wanted to fall down on the church floor to prostrate and worship God. In all this I was restrained by the fear of man. The fear of what people will say. Even right now as I write this article, I feel the return of the same anointing that I experienced in that unusual supernatural event coming back in my life.
