Give secretly
Give secretly

Dear reader, do you want God to reward your giving or contribution to His Kingdom? Then give secretly or call it anonymously.

The basis of this message

This post is based on what Jesus said in Mathew 6:1-4

Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you“.

People’s praise on earth

When you give and people start praising or thanking you, then you are in a great danger of not being rewarded by God. God will say that the thanks and praises people gave you on earth are enough. That will be your reward. Do not expect any reward from Heaven because you have already received your reward on earth.

Things not to do for your donation to be be rewarded in Heaven.

  1. Do not allow the recipient to announce your name.
  2. Do not allow anyone to thank you.
  3. Do not allow your name to be written anywhere in the records or on buildings.
  4. If the donation is in an envelope, do not write your name on the envelope.
  5. Never talk about your donation or giving with other people.

Dear reader, in order God and Heaven to reward you, the only person you should talk to is God. Pray that your donation is put to use according to your wish. And also tell God that you want to find your rewards in Heaven, not earth.

Prayer that blocks Satan.
