How to be a little child
Jesus Christ said that: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Mathew 18:3. In this post I show you how to a little child so that you enter the Kingdom of God.
1. Purity
Little children are free of sin. You can acquire this purity by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He will take away all your sins and you will get the purity of a little child.
“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you;
I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
2. Little children easily receive Jesus Christ.
‘So, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you hear his voice,
8 do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion,
during the time of testing in the wilderness,
9 where your ancestors tested and tried me,
though for forty years they saw what I did.
10 That is why I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known my ways.‘ Hebrews 3:7-11
3. Little children have a lot of faith in Jesus Christ.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]
4. Little children have no worries.
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. 5. Little children are always joyful.
“Rejoice always and delight in your faith” 1 Thessalonians 5:16
6. Little children have peace of heart.
” I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]” John 16:33
