7 reasons to pray always before getting out of your house

 

If you are a Christian, you have to be always aware that that the Devil and demons are constantly devising ways of cutting off the spiritual power you get through connecting with God our Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. This is why I give you 7 reasons to pray always before getting out of your house.

When you pray before leaving your house the following will happen:

1. You will move out in the shadow of the almighty.  Psalm 91:1 says:

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.^[a]”

 

2. The Lord will be your fortress. Psalm 91:2  says:

“I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”

 

3. God will protect you from the Devil’s traps. Psalm 91:3 says:

       “Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.”

 

4. God will protect you from dangers.  Psalm 91:7 says

“A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you”

 

5. God will command His Angels to protect you. Psalm 91:11-12  says:

                      “For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
¹² they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone”

 

6. Since you have acknowledged His Name before leaving home, when you get into trouble, God will rescue you. Psalm 91:14-15   says:

“Because he^[a] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
¹⁵ He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him”

 

7. God will cover you with His favour.   Ruth 2:10 says:

At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground.

She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?”
