Satan’s Book of Death
Dear reader, just as God has His Book of Life (see Revelation 20:15), Satan has a Book of Death. In this Book you find all the names of the dead and living individuals who will perish with Satan into Hell. Unlike the Book of Life where individual’s names may be written many years before their death, most names in the Book of Death are written when affected persons are nearing their death. The reason is that after writing the name in his Book, Satan does not want any individual to change their mind to receive Jesus Christ. This is why when some persons are about to die, Satan closes their mouths to prevent them from confessing that Jesus Christ is their Lord.
Below I mention the types of persons whose names are written in Satan’s Book of Death.
1. Any person who has never received Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior.
“He who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him [as Savior] has eternal life [that is, already possesses it]; but he who does not believe the Son and chooses to reject Him, [disobeying Him and denying Him as Savior] will not see [eternal] life, but [instead] the wrath of God hangs over him continually.” John 3:36
2. Any Christian who has allowed sin to take over his/her life.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
3. Any person who was called by God to serve but refused.
“But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord. 4 Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.” Jonah 1:3-4
5. Any person whose name is not written in the Book of Life.
“Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15
