Satan’s whispers on tithes
Satan and demons know that when you tithe, you will become very rich and you will start sponsoring the expansion of God’s Kingdom on Earth. Below I give some of Satan’s whispers on tithes to Christians.
- “My tithe will only work to make my pastor rich”
The Devil has led many Christians to believe that they are giving man instead of God. This misconception has kept these Christians under poverty.
2. “I have so many problems that I cannot tithe”
The Devil has led some Christians to believe they have so many problems that they cannot afford tithing. Such Christians do not know that the basic way of overcoming these problems is to tithe.
3. “If I tithe, I won’t have enough left”
God says the opposite. He said in Malachi 3:10-12,
‘Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty‘
4. “I have so many debts, I cannot tithe”
When you start tithing, God will miraculously enable you to pay all those debts.
5.“God sees me, I have been supporting the church in other ways. My tithes went into that support”
The tithe is God’s money. You are supposed to bring it to God’s Altar. You are not supposed to spend it on behalf of God’s minister or on behalf of the church.
6. “Jesus never talked about tithes”
Jesus was in agreement with God’s law of tithing.
7. “I know of some individuals who don’t tithe but are very rich”
Do not look at other individuals because you do not know how they get their riches.
