The power of “It is written…

The power of confessing “It is written…” and how this practice gives you victory.

Do you realize that when Jesus faced the Devil in the desert (Mathew 4:1-11) he did not tremble, or pray, or bind and cast away? Neither did he cry out that: “Oh my God, please help me!

He simply used the given power of God’s written Word to defeat the Devil. That power is available to you now to defeat the Devil, demons and any difficult circumstance.

In order to use this weapon, the first thing we have to do is to continually read the Bible and pick out Scriptures related to any difficult circumstances that we may face in our lives as shown in the examples below.

When facing sickness.

Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed

Confess:  You spirit of cancer etc., It is written: “By His (Jesus’) wounds I am healed”  Therefore I am healed in Jesus’ Name.

When facing enemies.

Isaiah 49:25

But this is what the Lord says: “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save

Confess: It is written that “My God will contend with those contending with me” Therefore God is contending with you [my enemy] right now.

When facing an armed attacker.

Isaiah 54:17

“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.

Confess: It is written that “No weapon forged against me will prevail/prosper” I declare that all your weapons are being broken right now.  [This confession can even make a loaded gun jam instantly!]

When facing safety or security issues.

Psalm 91:11

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways

Confess: It is written that ‘My God will command His Angels to guard me in all my ways’, therefore I declare that I am surrounded by God’s Angels who are protecting me right now”

Personal testimony

As I daily drive to my place of work, I started confessing the written Word of God. By the time I reach office I confess about 20 Scriptures concerning God’s protection, provision, and general well-being. As I continued confessing, I started getting successes at home and at work. Then, something else also happened. I started getting victory in dreams as I slept! I started having dreams of victory.

Instead of being defeated I became the conqueror in various dreams. What impressed me most was that in these dreams I saw myself speaking Scriptures to evil spirits who then fled away from me!

I appeal to you reader, start confessing powerful Scriptures in Jesus’ Name as you call upon God’s fighting and messenger Angels to act in your favor.

I noticed that one of your verses was misprinted. It should be
Isaiah 49:25. Here is where it needs to be corrected:

    When facing enemies.

    Isaiah 29:45

‘But this is what the Lord says: “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save”

Confess: It is written that “My God will contend with those contending with me” Therefore God is contending with you [my enemy] right now.

    Thank you for your work!!
