If you want to overcome the Devil, then you have to know what he fears most. You will use these fears to overcome him. In this post I will tell you what Satan fears most.
1. Satan fears God.
“The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” Romans 16:20
2.Satan fears Jesus Christ.
‘Then Jesus came to them and said,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Mathew 28:18-20
3. Satan fears the Bottomless Pit
“When He arrived at the other side in the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming out of the tombs met Him. They were so extremely fierce and violent that no one could pass by that way. And they screamed out, “[a]What business do we have [in common] with each other, Son of God? Have You come to torment us before the appointed time [of judgment]?” Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was grazing. The demons began begging Him, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” And He said to them, “Go!” So they came out [of the men] and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the water. The herdsmen ran away, and went to the city and reported everything, including what had happened to the men under the power of demons. And the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and as soon as they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.”
4. Satan fears prayers of Christians.
5. The Devil fears the fasting of Christians.
6. The Devil fears God’s Word.
7. Satan fears Christians who practice righteousness.
8. Satan fears the mighty army of God’s holy angels. He and all demons will disperse on seeing this army.
9. Satan fears the Blood of Jesus Christ.
