Our Heavenly Father will always tell you that He will use you mightily in the future. Here are 3 major signs that God has a great assignment for you.
1. Dreams.
First, the number one sign showing that God has a great assignment for you in future is divine dreams. You will start having dreams from heaven.
Years before God uses you, He will show you His plans through dreams. This is exactly what happened to the boy Joseph, son of Jacob. Many years before God used Joseph, he got this dream showing that he would be greater than all his family members.
Listen to what the written word of God says about this dream:
9 Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”
10 When he told his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?” 11 His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

2. Prophecies.
Second, God will speak to you through His prophets. I remember many years ago, our church had a guest preacher, and I was sitting at the back of the congregation. Suddenly, he interrupted his sermon and began to prophesy.
He pointed at me and said,
You! God is calling you into ministry, but you’re still confused. God says you know what to do. Wake up and start doing God’s work! I see you with a pen, writing, writing, and writing. God has given you the ministry of writing in His Kingdom.
In fact, this prophecy gave me the impetus to begin this ministry.
3. Other people will tell you.
Furthermore, God will use other people, including your friends, to tell you about God’s plans for your life. I remember many years ago a lady intercessor at our church told me that she dreamed a strange dream about me. She said:
Brother Makko, In this dream God had given you an unusual white vehicle, and you were driving it. All our church members were amazed because they had never seen such a vehicle before.
I knew from this dream that God had given me an unusual assigment. Later, I discovered that it was the ministry of writing for God’s Kingdom.
