For example, when God asked Gideon to attack the Midianites, he didn’t realize that he had already won that war in the spirit world. He was afraid to attack the Midianites’ camp until God asked him to do something that would prove to him that he had already won the battle in the spirit world. God asked him to go to the Midianites’ camp and listen to their conversations.

13 Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream. “I had a dream,” he was saying. “A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed.”
14 His friend responded, “This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands.”

From what he heard, Gideon confirmed that he had already won the war in the spirit world.
Satanists and witches first kill a person in the spirit world.
Moreover, before a person dies in the physical world at the hands of dark forces, that person may have already died two days earlier in the spirit world.
