Dear reader, you may not be aware of this, but heaven is your ultimate destination. Therefore, an hour should never pass without you thinking of Heaven.
Your origin is heaven.
First of all, this might surprise you: Your life didn’t begin on earth as you believe. It actually began in heaven. Our Heavenly Father first created your spirit in heaven before you were placed in a physical body on earth.
In fact, the same thing happened to our Lord Jesus Christ. He began in heaven, was born and raised on earth, and then returned to heaven.
Everything you see on earth will disappear.
Second, everything you see on earth including all the cities, all the vehicles, and everything you see as beautiful will pass away. This is exactly what happened during the days of Noah.
Listen to what the written word of God in the Bible says:
17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
1 John 2:17
Your everlasting home is in heaven.
Furthermore, you should know that your home on earth is temporary. Your permanent home is actually in heaven and this heavenly home will last forever.
Your real treasures are kept in Heaven.
Moreover, your earthly treasures will disappear, but your heavenly treasures will last forever. Listen to what our Lord Jesus Christ said about your treasures:
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Matthew 6:19-20
