Dear reader, our Heavenly Father always sends you his alerts, though you may not perceive them. God always tells you before anything happens.
A wedding image appeared on my Bible page!
First, let me tell you about my oldest daughter. I knew nothing about her love relationships, and in fact, I didn’t even know she had a serious boyfriend. One day, while reading my Bible, all the letters on the page disappeared! Suddenly, an image of a beautiful, smiling woman in a wedding dress appeared on the blank page! Interestingly, as I looked closely at the woman’s face, I realized it was my oldest daughter! Within seconds, the supernatural vision disappeared and the letters reappeared!
I knew immediately that God was telling me my oldest daughter was about to get married. So I called her and told her what the Lord had revealed to me. She admitted that maybe God was right! Four months later, my daughter was married in a grand ceremony, just as the Lord had shown me in that vision.
God will tell you, before anything happens in your life.
Second, we need to understand that God will always tell us in advance before anything happens in our lives. God may tell you years, months, or days before something happens.
God told Abraham that the Israelites would be enslaved and delivered in Egypt.
As a good example, hundreds of years before the Israelites went to Egypt, God told Abraham the following:
12 As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him. 13 Then the Lord said to him, “Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there. 14 But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions.
Genesis 15:12-14
Why does God tell us things many years or months in advance?
Therefore I told you these things long ago;
before they happened I announced them to you
so that you could not say,
‘My images brought them about;
my wooden image and metal god ordained them.’
