Israel is not an ordinary country as some people believe. This article shows you that it takes a strong and tough politician to lead Israel.
Israel is no ordinary country.
First, God chose the nation of Israel to be the people from whom Jesus Christ, the Savior from sin and death, would be born. God promised the Messiah after the fall of Adam and Eve. Later, God confirmed that the Messiah would come from the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jesus Christ is the fundamental reason why God chose Israel as His special people. Jesus had to come from a nation, and God chose Israel.
This is a war between the kingdom of God and Satan.
Second, we must understand that because of Israel’s spiritual and sacred connection to God, Satan’s kingdom constantly fights against this nation. As was the case with Joseph, Jacob’s son, all neighboring countries want to destroy Israel so that God’s purposes for this world cannot be realized.
Internal political opposition.
In addition to external enemies, the Israeli political landscape is currently characterized by significant internal divisions, particularly regarding the ongoing conflict with Hamas and the future of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Even within the ruling coalition, disagreements and power struggles persist, particularly over issues such as mandatory military service for ultra-Orthodox Jews and the handling of the war in Gaza.
A successful Israeli leader must be a fighter.
Given the above facts, every successful leader of Israel must be a fighter with a strong and tenacious spirit. If you read the Bible, you will find that leaders like Moses, Joshua, Gideon, Samson, Saul, and David were all great fighters. In fact, they possessed a warrior spirit worthy of a lion.
Always pray for Israel.
Therefore, as Israel needs strong leaders, we must always pray that God will raise up such men and women. Israel needs strong people like David Ben-Gurion, Menachem Begin, and Benjamin Natanyahu.
