The Lord’s Prayer is your greatest weapon to keep Satan out of your life. In fact, Luke 11:4 gives the Lord’s Prayer the power to stop Satan.
Why does Satan have such great power over many Christians?
To begin, we need to understand why Satan exercises such great power over many Christians. There are two reasons for this power. First, Satan appears before God day and night to accuse Christians of wrongdoing. God showed me five Bible verses that confirm this fact: Luke 22:31-32, Job 1:6, Job 2:1, Job 1:9-10, and Revelation 12:10.
Second, if God is convinced that Satan’s accusations are correct, He will go ahead and permit Satan to come into the life of that Christian. This is exactly what happened to Job (see Job 1:12 and Job 2:6).
God actually leads you to the devil to be tempted.
Interestingly, and unknown to many Christians, after God permits Satan, it is actually our Heavenly Father who leads that Christian to the devil to be tempted. The Lord showed me Mathew 4:1 to confirm this fact.
This is exactly what happened after our Heavenly Father had granted Satan permission to tempt our Lord Jesus Christ.
Listen to what the written word of God in the Bible says:
4 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil.
Matthew 4:1
These two actions will prevent Satan from coming into your life.
If you want to prevent Satan from attacking you, you must take two steps. The Lord showed me that these two steps are actually found in Luke 11:4.
The first step is to request our Heavenly Father to forgive you all your sins. After all your sins have been washed away, Satan will have no basis for accusing you.
The second step is to request our Heavenly Father not to lead you to the devil to be tempted. After these two actions, it will become very difficult for the devil to come into your life. These two actions are actually summarised in Luke 11:4 as follows:
Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.[a]
And lead us not into temptation.[b]’”
Luke 11:4
This is the message the Lord has entrusted to me to convey to you. It is the ministry our Heavenly Father has assigned to me: You must pray the Lord’s Prayer every day before any other prayer.
