Dear reader, always be careful when presenting your tithe to the church. Never tithe without presenting an offering to God.
What the Bible says.
First, let’s begin by examining what God’s written word in the Bible says about this. If you open Malachi 3:8-9, you will understand that God wasn’t just complaining about believers stealing tithes. Our Heavenly Father was also complaining about their offerings in God’s house.
Listen to what the word of God says:
8 “Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.
“But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’
“In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me.
Malachi 3:8-9
We will be judged according to God’s word in the Bible.
Second, when God is judging us, He relies on his written word in the Bible. Therefore, we need to study how God’s word is written in the Bible to avoid perishing into hell.
God talked about tithes as well as offerings.
Therrefore, if we carefully look at Malachi 3:8-9, we realise that God was not talking about tithes only, but at offerings as well. For this reason, if God is to make any judgement, it will not be based on tithes only, but on offerings as well.
It is preferable to present the tithe and the offering at the same time.
Given all of the above, and from the heavenly point of view, it is preferable to present the tithe and the offering at the same time, but separately (or in separate envelopes). If you follow this advice, you will have no condemnation at all from our Heavenly Father.
All churches must collect tithes and offerings, but separately.
In relation to this matter, various churches are holding various collections from their congregations. However, heaven cares less about most of these collections. What matters most in the Kingdom of God are offerings to God and tithes.
