Dear reader, the Lord has showed me something about praying. Prayer is like a wood fire: if you relax, the fire will go out.

Your prayer is the firewood, and the Holy Spirit is the fire.

First of all, it was like a supernatural vision that the Lord showed me. In this vision, I saw two fires lit with the same amount of wood. The first fire had no keeper; therefore, it burned until all the wood was consumed and the flames went out.

The second fire was fed by a keeper who constantly added wood. Thus, this fire never stopped, because it never ran out of wood.

In this vision, the Lord showed me that your prayer is the firewood, and the Holy Spirit is the fire. If you continue to pray, the fire of the Holy Spirit will continue to burn. However, if you relax in prayer, the fire of the Holy Spirit will eventually go out.

Pray every 30 minutes.

So, how often should we pray if we want to keep the fire of the Holy Spirit burning? The Lord showed me that we must pray every 30 minutes. It’s interesting to note that your prayer can be brief.

The most important thing is to bind and cast out the demons that hinder you. Second, you invite our Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit into this place. In other words, you are expelling the kingdom of Satan and inviting in the Kingdom of God.

What our Heavenly Father says.

According to the written word of God in the Bible, our Heavenly Father encourages us to pray continually.

17 Pray continually.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

What continually means.

In conclusion, it is important to understand what the Lord means by “praying continually.” I want to begin by clarifying that “praying continually” does not mean praying without stopping. Rather, like adding wood to the fire, it means praying at regular intervals. Therefore, in the context of spiritual warfare, do not go more than 30 minutes without praying.
