Dear reader, not everyone is subject to curses. This article shows you the danger of cursing someone God has already blessed.
What it means to be blessed by God.
To begin with we have to understand what God’s blessing is. To be blessed by God is associated with protection and happiness. God’s blessings are meant to protect us, guide us to the path of righteousness, and give us hope.
Therefore, curses cannot be mixed with the blessings of God.
Listen to what God’s written word in the Biblee says:
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it.
Proverbs 10:22
God’s wrath will be upon you.
Since God does not add sorrow to his blessing, he will bring his wrath on anyone who curses what he has already blessed. For this reason the prophet Balam refused to curse the children of Israel. Listen to what Balam told king Balak:
7 And he (Balam) took up his [a]oracle and said:
“Balak the king of Moab has brought me from Aram,
From the mountains of the east.
‘Come, curse Jacob for me,
And come, denounce Israel!’
8 “How shall I curse whom God has not cursed?
And how shall I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?
Therefore, if someone curses someone whom God has blessed, those curses will have no effect on the person blessed by God. In fact, the curses will return to the one who cursed.
Listen to what God says in His written Word, in the Bible:
I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you.
Genesis 12:3
Conclusion.
In conclusion, it is dangerous to curse someone whom God has blessed. In fact, it is better to bless such a person than to curse him.
