Dear reader, there are some deeply hidden spiritual things that Job was unaware of. This short prayer would have saved Job from all his trials.
Job was unaware that Satan was behind all his problems.
First of all, if you read the Book of Job in the Bible, you will see that he was completely unaware that all his problems came from Satan.
In fact, at the beginning of Job’s story, Satan ascended to heaven and began accusing Job before God. As a result of his accusations, God granted him permission to inflict many trials on him.
Job believed that God was the cause of his problems.
Unfortunately, in all his troubles, Job never considered Satan. If you read the Bible, you will see that all his answers were directed at God.
In fact, Job never mentions Satan in anything he says in the Bible because he believed God was the source of all his problems.
Satan appeared before God twice in heaven because of Job.
Furthermore, if you read the Bible, you will see that Satan traveled to heaven twice to appear before God. It is interesting to note that each time he appeared in heaven, God granted him permission to test Job.
Listen to what God said to Satan:
12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
Job 1:12
Satan continues to accuse Christians before God.
It is interesting to note that Satan’s accusations did not end with Job. Satan continues to appear before God in heaven day and night to accuse Christians.
The Lord showed me Revelation 12:10 to prove this. Unfortunately, many Christians are unaware that God has authorized Satan to come to tempt them or subject them to great trials.
Jesus Christ gave us a weapon to stop Satan.
One day, the twelve disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. Aware that Satan comes before God to accuse Christians, our Lord Jesus Christ asked his disciples to pray like this:
Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.[a]
And lead us not into temptation.[b]’”
Luke 11:4
Two things will happen if you pray like this. First, God will forgive you all your sins. Therefore, Satan will have no grounds to accuse you before God.
Second, when you ask our Heavenly Father not to lead you into temptation, God will listen and deny Satan permission to come and test you.
In fact, if Job had prayed like this, God would not have given Satan permission to come and test him. That is why our Lord Jesus Christ encouraged all Christians to pray the Lord’s Prayer at all times.
The Lord’s Prayer will prevent Satan from entering your life.
