Dear reader, there are some Christians who will face many questions as they wait at the gates of heaven. This article introduces you to four Christians God will hold responsible for lost souls.
1. Parents who never raised their children according to the ways of the Lord.
First, God’s angels at the gates of heaven will ask every Christian parent if they raised their children in the ways of God.
Any Christian parent who did not take his children to church and that child does not know Jesus Christ will find it difficult to enter heaven.
The Bible verse that will be used for this judgement is Proverbs 22:6:
Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents],
Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
2. A Christian who refused to serve God.
Secondly, God’s angels will ask many questions of any Christian who refused to serve God. They will hold that Christian responsible for all the lost souls he was supposed to save from hell.
3. Pastors who never cared about their missing members.
Furthermore, God’s angels will hold responsible any pastor who never bothered to find out what happened to his missing church member. It will be difficult for that pastor to enter heaven if that church member went into hell.
The Bible verse used for this judgement will be Luke 15:4:
What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost, [searching] until he finds it?
The pastor will only be exonerated if he tried to find out what happened to the missing church member.
4. A Christian who curses another Christian.
Fourth, if a Christian curses another Christian, the devil will use those negative words to do great harm to both of them. In fact, both of them may not make it into heaven.
Therefore, God will hold the Christian who cursed responsible and the angels can prevent him from entering heaven.
The Bible verse that will be used in this judgement is Luke 6:27-28:
But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.
