Dear reader, many people suffer without knowing that our Heavenly Father is the source of their troubles. In this article I show you four signs that it’s actually God who’s angry with you.
God will first warn you through his written word.
It takes a long time for Heavenly Father to get angry, so before he becomes angry he will give you a warning in one way or another through his written word in the Bible.
Listen to this warning God gives you through his written word in the Bible:
This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you
that I have set before you life and death,
blessings and curses.
Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.
Deuteronomy 30:19
God can send his messenger to you.
Before God brought trouble on Eli and his family, he first sent a messenger to Eli with this message:
Why do you[a] scorn my sacrifice and offering that I prescribed for my dwelling?
Why do you honor your sons more than me
by fattening yourselves on the choice parts of every offering made by my people Israel?’
The Holy Spirit will convict you.
Heavenly Father will ask the Holy Spirit to come and tell your heart about the sin you have committed.
And He [the Holy Spirit], when He comes,
will convict the world about [the guilt of] sin [and the need for a Savior],
and about righteousness, and about judgment.
John 16:8
God will warn you through dreams.
When Heavenly Father is angry with you, he warns you through dreams. God had warned King Nebuchadnezzar many times, until he showed this king, by means of a dream, a giant tree being cut down.
This is the interpretation, Your Majesty,
and this is the decree the Most High has issued against my lord the king:
You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals;
you will eat grass like the ox and be drenched with the dew of heaven.
Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge
that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth
and gives them to anyone he wishes.
