Dear reader, our Heavenly Father has given each person on earth an assignment, though many don’t know it. This article shows you the six dangers of resigning from God’s assignment.
You have an assignment from God.
God’s assignments can be divided into two major areas. The first category are people whom Heavenly Father has called to serve him directly in ministry. These include pastors, preachers, prophets, evangelists, and apostles.
The second category are people who serve God indirectly. These include leaders and persons who take care of others.
God knew your assignment before you were born.
Before you were born, our Heavenly Father knew you, and already had an assignment for you.
Listen to what the written word of God says in Jeremiah 1:5:
Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you,
before you were born I set you apart.
Therefore, you will face the following dangers if you resign from your divine mission.
1. You will open the door for demons to attack you.
When Jonah resigned from God’s mission, he opened a door for demons of all kinds to attack him. When he repented to God, the door of the demons closed and Heavenly Father blessed him.
2. You will live a cursed life.
In addition, you will live a cursed life if you resign from God’s assignment. This is exacly what happened to Jonah.
3. You are inviting poverty.
Furthermore, no one who resigns from God’s assignment sees prosperity. That person will always live in poverty and stagnation.
4. You will no longer excel.
As a matter of fact, God will stay away from you when you resign from his assignment. For this reason you will no longer excel.
5. You will get closer to Hell.
Moreover, when you resign from God’s mission, you are one step closer to Hell. Hell opens its doors to you if you don’t repent and return to God’s mission.
