You were dedicated from the womb.
Dear reader, you may not believe this, but it is true. When you were still in your mother’s womb, God predestined you to do great works in his Kingdom.
If your mother had been attentive, she should have heard, in one way or another, God’s voice saying she is bearing a child who would be used greatly in God’s Kingdom.
God chose you.
God chose you before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he[b] predestined you for adoption to be his real child through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in Jesus (Ephesians 1:4-6).
God’s plan.
God planned that you do great things in his Kingdom. There are many ways people like you can contribute to God’s Kingdom. Seek God with all your heart to find out what his assignment for your life is.
Satan hated your divine destiny.
When Satan learnt of your divine predestination, he commanded his demons to start fighting God’s plan for your life. These are the wars you have been seeing in your life ever since you were born.
Learn from Samson.
I want you to learn from Samson to know how Satan attacks people’s destinies. Like you, Samson was supposed to do great works in God’s Kingdom. God anointed him when he was still in his mother’s womb (Judges 13:5). He was supposed to take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines.
When Satan discerned Samson’s glorious destiny, he started fighting his life. Samson was not aware of the war going on to destroy his destiny. His life ended badly after partially fulfilling God’s assignment on his life.
Start aligning with your divine destiny.
From today onward, start seeking God, asking him what your role in his Kingdom is. When you discover your assignment, do it with all your heart so that you have something written in your files in Heaven (Luke 10:20).
How I discovered God’s assignment for my life.
For more than seven years after receiving Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I was confused as to what God wanted me to do to promote his Kingdom on earth. Then one Sunday during a church service something happened.
The preacher suddenly interrupted his sermon and went into prophecy. I was seated at the very back of the congregation but he pointed precisely where I was seated and said these words:
“You man, yes I am talking to you. God is calling you to ministry. I see you with a pen writing, and writing, and writing. God says you know what you are supposed to write” It was through this prophecy that I confirmed God’s call on my life. This is why I have written this article for you.
