Dear reader, I don’t know why God gave me this message, because I have never written on political situations.
How the Lord gave me this message.
I usually go one hour early to the Sunday church service. This hour enables me to read the written word in the Bible and to interact with God (see 1 Samuel 3:21).
Today morning at around 7:30am Kyiv Time (24th April 2022) as I settled to read God’s written word, I felt God’s presence. It was as if someone had set fire on my heart, and in the church section where I sat.
Ukraine’s images of destruction and death.
Then abruptly and out of nowhere, instead of seeing the hundreds of empty chairs all around me, I started seeing Ukraine’s images of destruction, suffering, death, and resignation.
God’s voice.
What followed was God’s voice.
This is what the Lord told me to tell the people of Ukraine:
I am your refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore do not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
(God told Ukrainians to see Psalm 46:1-3).
God our Father continued:
I make wars cease
to the ends of the earth.
I break the bow and shatter the spear;
I burn the shields[a] with fire.
This is what I say to you:
“Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.
(God told Ukrainians to see Psalm 46:9-10).
That was the message the Lord gave me to deliver to the people of Ukraine. May God protect and bless all Ukrainians who are still alive.
