Dear reader, there are many things Satan cannot do, yet our Lord JEsus Christ can do them. This article mentions six things Satan can’t do, but Jesus can.
1. Satan cannot give you life. Only God can give life – through Jesus Christ.
Hear what the Bible says in Job 12:10,
But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
or let the fish in the sea inform you.
9 Which of all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
10 In his hand is the life of every creature
and the breath of all mankind.
2. The Devil can’t give you eternity. Only God can, through Jesus Christ.
Jesus said to her, “[a]I am the Resurrection and the Life.
Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies.
John 11:25
3. Satan cannot give you peace. Only God can, through Jesus Christ.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27
4. Satan cannot save you from your sins. Only Jesus can.
But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.
5. Satan will never lead you to God. Only Jesus can.
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
6. Satan will never give you anything for free. Only Jesus can freely give.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a] drive out demons.
Freely you have received; freely give.
Mathew 10:8
