Dear reader, many things have happened in your life since you were born. At this point in your life, Heavenly Father wants to ask you two questions. What have you done for the Kingdom of God, and how will Heaven remember you?
Pharaoh’s daughter who saved baby Moses’ life.
Interestingly, Pharaoh’s daughter was not a Christian, but she saved the life of a Jewish baby whom God then used mightily.
Heaven will always remember Pharaoh’s daughter for promoting the expansion of the Kingdom of God. The name of Pharaoh’s daughter will never be erased from the Bible and the holy books of Heaven.
Rahab the Harlot.
Furthermore, the king of Jericho wanted to kill the two spies who had been sent by Joshua. The king sent this message to Rahab the prostitute who had hidden them (see Joshua 2:3):
Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, because they have come to spy out the whole land.
However, Rahab hid these two spies in her house. Heaven will always remember Rahab for saving the lives of God’s servants.
Because of this act, Rahab’s name will never be erased from the Bible and from Heaven.
The thief on the cross.
As you know, many non-Christians around the world abuse and profane the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. But the thief on the cross refused to do so. This thief recognized that he was a sinner and that Jesus Christ is in fact God.
He asked the other thief who insulted Jesus Christ like this (Luke 23:39-43):
Do you not even fear God?
Then he asked for forgiveness and all his sins were washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ. Heaven will always remember this thief for honoring Jesus Christ.
His name will never be erased from the Bible and from Heaven.
What have you done for God’s Kingdom?
Therefore, our Heavenly Father is asking you this question. What have you done for God’s Kingdom? How will Heaven remember you?
