Dear reader, if you have put your faith in God, you no longer have to worry. God is about to level the mountain before you.

The mountain can take many forms.

First, realize that the mountain I’m talking about can take many forms: a life-threatening illness, a foreclosure, the threat of imprisonment, accumulating debt, a loss of income, or an enemy who has risen up against you.

Set your eyes on God.

As you think about the mountain in front of you, you need to take your eyes off that problem and focus on God.

What God is saying to you now.

Third, you must hear what God is telling you right now. Listen to what God is telling you, according to His written word in the Bible:

I will go before you
    and will level the mountains[a];
I will break down gates of bronze
and cut through bars of iron.

Isaiah 45:2

The mountain that was before Peter.

If you think you have a big problem ahead of you, think about the mountain that stood before Peter. According to God’s words in the book of Acts, chapter 12, Peter was arrested and imprisoned.

First, he was bound with two strong chains. Second, he was locked in a fortified prison. The prison was heavily protected by walls, gates, and other strong defensive devices to prevent inmates from escaping.

Third, it was guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. And whenever Peter wanted to sleep, the prison authorities made sure he slept between two soldiers. In other words, from a human perspective, it was impossible for Peter to escape from this prison.

God levelled the mountain that stood before Peter.

Listen to how God mighitly levelled the mountain that lay before Peter:

Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.

Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. 10 They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.

The weapon to stop Satan is actually found in Luke 11:4
