Dear reader, the time will come when your earthly life will end and you will leave this world. How will God’s Kingdom remember you?
The woman in the Bible who had multiple husbands.
In the book of John, chapter 14, the Bible mentions a sinful woman who met our Lord Jesus Christ. The Kingdom of Heaven will always remember this woman because of what happened next. This woman fully believed what Jesus had told her and was immediately converted.
She accepted the Lord into her heart and went back to tell everyone in her town about Jesus Christ. As a result, many people in that town became believers in Jesus Christ.
Listen to what the written word of God in the Bible says:
39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him [Jesus Christ] because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. 41 And because of his words many more became believers.
42 They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”
John 4:39-42
The actions of this Samaritan woman impacted the Kingdom of God. In fact, her actions were recorded in the Holy Bible, where she is celebrated to this day.
God wants you to go out and tell others about Christ.
Given what this woman did, our Lord Jesus Christ wants you to bring his message to the world. He promises to be with you always.
Since the Holy Spirit lives within you, he will guide you and empower you to share Christ’s message. This is how God’s Kingdom will always remember you.
