Dear reader, a powerful divine weapon awaits use by Christians. It is God’s supernatural chains that bind demons.
To begin with, in the realm of spiritual warfare, believers are equipped with a potent, invisible authority to counteract demonic influence. This weapon is known as the supernatural chains.
How to activate these supernatural chains.
When a believer, standing in faith, declares that:
It is written that whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven,
—these supernatural chains are immediately activated. You activate a legal mandate in the spirit realm to bind whatever you tell these chains to bind.
Your declaration invites heavenly power.
These invisible chains are not physical, but divine restrictions enforced by God that bind demonic forces, limiting their ability to operate, oppress, or influence individuals. It is a prayer of agreement where the earthly declaration of the believer is instantly ratified by heavenly power.
These chains actually handcuff and bind demons.
This authority acts as a “spiritual handcuffing,” restricting demons and, in effect, allowing the believer to break demonic strongholds and cast out evil spirits. The activated, unchainable word of God (2 Tim 2:9) serves as the binding force, confirming that the demonic influence is forbidden on earth because it has already been disallowed in heaven.
The Lord showed me how these divine chains operate.
I remember once, early in my ministry, when witches sent a demonic python into my room. Upon seeing it, the Lord reminded me of the supernatural power of binding. So, as soon as I saw this giant python, I cried out these words:
It is written that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I bind you, python!
As soon as these words were spoken with authority, the Lord opened my eyes, and I beheld the supernatural. I saw immense chains descend from heaven and mercilessly bind every part of the python. They compressed it so much that it was reduced to the size of a mineral water bottle. Later, I commanded the chained spirit to be cast into the abyss, and I never saw it again.
