Dear reader, this article shows you the importance of reading God’s word. I was reading the Bible, and the room burst into flames!
How it all began.
To begin with, about three years before this incident, I had accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I felt a deep need for Jesus to deliver me from all my confusion and spiritual captivity. After my salvation, my life changed completely. The Lord placed a great desire in my heart to seek Him. I felt a strong urge to attend church regularly, to rise and pray every night, and to frequently read the Word of God in the Bible.
One day as I read the Bible, the room burst into flames!
As I grew stronger in the Lord, my thirst for Him intensified as well. After my workday, I used to shut myself in my room to read God’s Word in the Bible. That evening, I was reading the Book of Job, and something was weighing heavily on my mind. “How can Satan, an evil spirit, enter God’s holy heavenly presence and speak to our holy heavenly Father?” I wondered. Little did I know, as this question played on my mind, that God was reading my thoughts. The Lord cared about my question and wanted to explain something to me. Suddenly, my room burst into a supernatural fire!
The Lord entrusted me with an international ministry to serve Him!
Interestingly, just as with Moses, this fire consumed nothing in the room! Only my heart burned! During this supernatural experience, the Lord supernaturally revealed seven Bible verses to me: Luke 22:31–32, Job 1:6, Job 2:1, Job 1:9–10, Revelation 12:10, Matthew 4:1, and Luke 11:4. The Lord supernaturally explained to me how Satan appears before Him daily in heaven to accuse Christians. Then, He showed me how Christians can triumph over Satan’s accusations.
