Dear reader, this article shows you that you can do a lot of bad things, but cheating on your spouse is the worst thing you can do.
God will be the first person to be offended.
First, before considering either partner, the first person who will be offended by your unfaithfulness is actually our Heavenly Father. Listen to what God’s written word says in the Bible:
For your ways are in full view of the Lord,
and he examines all your paths.
22 The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare them;
the cords of their sins hold them fast.
Proverbs 5:21-22
You will never be the same person again.
Second, no one who cheats on their spouse ever remains the same. The breach of trust extends beyond the unfaithful partner, permeating relationships with extended family members, friends, and even children. Consequently, restoring trust becomes a lengthy process, requiring immense effort to rebuild fractured bonds.
You open a door for demons to attack you.
Additionally, cheating on your spouse opens the door for Satan and demons to attack you. The relationship with your spouse will begin to experience anger, bitterness, unexplained illnesses, financial difficulties, failures and sadness in your family.
The cords of death will ensnare you.
Fourth, cheating on your spouse will bring Satan’s powerful ropes of death into your life. In fact, no one who cheats on their spouse will ever go unscathed. The end result of this suffering will be death.
Stay away from extramarital relationships.
In conclusion, the Lord wants you to stay away from sexual relations outside of marriage. In fact, our Lord Jesus Christ went further to say that a married person should never have thoughts of lust for another person besides their spouse.
Cheating on your spouse is the worst thing you can do.
