Dear reader, you may find it hard to believe, but it’s true. There are demons that wait to hear what a Christian dreamt about.
Satan and demons cannot know what you dreamt.
To begin with, we need to understand that Satan and demons cannot discern what you dreamt about. This is the reason why all King Nebuchadnezzars magicians and witches failed to tell him what his dream was.
Listen to what the magicians, enchanters, sorcerers and astrologers[a] told King Nebuchdnezzar:
10 The astrologers answered the king, “There is no one on earth who can do what the king asks! No king, however great and mighty, has ever asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or astrologer. 11 What the king asks is too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among humans.”
Daniel 2:10-11
Demons eagerly wait to hear what you dreamt about.
Therefore, since demons cant tell what you dreamt about, they depend on your words. They wait in your bedroom or in a tree nearest to your residence to hear you tell someone what your dream was.
Why demons want to what you dreamt about.
In fact, demons want to know what your dream was so that if it was good, they will work hard to hinder God’s plans for your life. This is exactly what happened to Joseph. As soon as he told his brothers what he had dreamed, the demons discovered God’s good plans for Joseph and they wanted to destroy those plans.
Keep your dreams to yourself.
Therefore, it is always better not to tell another person what you have dreamed. Instead, keep the dream to yourself and pray for God’s will to be done in your life. If you keep your dreams a secret, the chances of them being fulfilled by God remain very high.
