Dear reader, it took me many years to understand that Heavenly Father was calling me to the ministry. This article presents four signs that convinced me that God is calling me to serve him.
1. Fire from heaven!
To begin with, about three years after receiving Jesus Christ as the Lord of my life, I began to diligently seek the Lord through his written word in the Bible.
One night, as I began to open the Bible, the fire of God powerfully entered the room where he was sitting. Through this supernatural experience the Lord gave me a message that I titled Prayer That Blocks Satan.

2. A prophetic dream from one our intercessors.
A few weeks after the supernatural experience I mentioned above, I met a sister in the Lord who was one of the intercessors of our church.
She was very happy to see me and she acted like she had good news to tell me. She said:
Brother Makko, I had a good dream about you. In this dream the Lord gave you an extraordinary and very beautiful white car. We have never seen a car like this in this country!
From this dream I concluded that Heavenly Father was calling me into an unusual Christian ministry. This was about 25 years ago!
3. Prepare for God’s work!
On another occasion a servant of God was praying for me when he suddenly spoke these prophetic words:
Get ready because the Lord is about to use you. Begin to seek the Lord diligently through holiness and prayer.
4. The visiting preacher who discovered my hiding place!
Also, I remember one day during our main Sunday church service we had a visiting preacher. During this service I chose to sit in the back row because I wanted to focus on seeking the Lord. There were up to thirty rows between me and the pulpit.
Then, while this visitor was preaching, he suddenly stopped and pointed to the same place where I was sitting. He prophesied like this:
You man God is calling you to serve him!
I looked at my neighbor thinking the preacher’s words were directed at him. But the preacher reacted quickly by insisting that he was talking to me.
After describing my face and the color of my shirt he said:
I see you holding a pen writing, writing, writing and writing. The Lord says you know what you are supposed to write about. Start doing God’s work without delay.
This was over 20 years ago, before I even thought about writing books and creating all these websites.
