Dear reader, in this article I show you why you should give your workers a rest on Sundays. Father in Heaven will hold you accountable if you do not allow your workers to rest on a Sunday.
God rested on day seven.
During the creation of the heavens and Earth, Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit worked for six days, then they rested on day seven.
Sunday is the Lord’s day.
Sunday is known all over the Christian world as a resting day. It is the Lord’s day (see Revelation 1:10). It is the day when most Churches have their major services. Sunday is the day when Christians gather and worship the Lord, as well as bringing their tithes and offerings to God.
Leading your workers to Heaven.
As a Christian, you are supposed to be a light to all other people. You should be leading your workers to Heaven by talking to them about Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
By giving your workers a day off on Sundays you allow them to attend Church and worship the Lord. God will bless you for doing this.
Sending your workers to Hell.
When you make your employees work on Sundays, you are driving them to Hell. On judgement day God will ask that Christian employer many questions about the workers he led to Hell. God’s angels may prevent a Christian employer from entering Heaven because of the workers he drove into eternal suffering.
Honoring Sunday is one of the Ten Commandments.
This is what the Bible says:
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work,
neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant,
nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.
11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea,
and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day.
Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
