Dear reader, are you facing a predicament? This article shows you that God can save you from your difficult situation.

Peter’s situation was worse that yours.

To begin with, before focusing on your situation, think of what Peter the apostle was facing (read Acts 12:1-19).

First, he was arrested by King Herod and imprisoned in a heavily fortified military prison with a secure gate. Second, he was chained with two strong chains, instead of one.

Third, in this prison, Peter was closely guarded by 16 heavily armed soldiers. Fourth, when it came time to sleep, Peter had to sleep between two soldiers until morning. In other words, it was impossible, even unimaginable, for Peter to escape from this prison.

God did the impossible for Peter.

Despite all the security details mentioned above, God sent an angel who miraculously saved Peter from this excruciating and cruel imprisonment.

Listen to what happened:

6 The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.

Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. 10 They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.

11 Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.”

Acts 12:6-11

Conclusion

In conclusion, God has never changed. If He saved Peter from this difficult imprisonment, He will surely save you too.

The weapon to stop Satan is actually found in Luke 11:4
