Dear reader, the end-time harvest of lost souls is great but the workers for God’s Kingdom are very few. God wants to use many people to reap the harvest but they do not seek Him.
Today’s generation is like the days of Pharaoh.
As a precise comparison, the current generation is like the days of Pharaoh when the Israelites were captive in Egypt. Like Pharaoh, Satan has bound billions of God’s people and has refused to let them go. Therefore, our Heavenly Father is looking for many people whom he can use to free his people from the bondage of Satan.
God wants to use many but…
They are not seeking God through Jesus Christ.
First, God wants to use some people but they never take salvation through Jesus Christ seriously. Listen to what Jesus Christ says in John 14:6:
I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
They do not seek God through prayer.
Second, God cannot use some people because they do not seek Him through prayer. If they would seek God through prayer, then He would reveal Himself to them.
Listen to what the written word in the Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11-13:
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
They are not seeking God through the written word in the Bible.
Furthermore, our Father wants to use some people but they never seek him through the written word in the Bible. If these chosen people could read the word written in the Bible, God would reveal Himself to them.
Additionally, God wants to use some people but they don’t seek him through consecration and holiness. Listen to what God tells us in Leviticus 11:44:
I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.
