Dear reader, if you carefully study the history of Israel and its people, you will find that God will curse anyone who curses the Jewish people. The examples below show how God has cursed the enemies of the Jewish people.
1. The army pursuing the Jewish nation was drowned in the Red Sea.
As the Jewish people fled Egypt, Pharaoh changed his mind and ordered his entire army to pursue them. God looked down from heaven and did two extraordinary things.
First, he created a road in the Red Sea that allowed all the Jewish people to cross to the other side of the sea. Second, God destroyed the entire Egyptian army that was pursuing the Jewish people.
2. God’s warning to Balaam, a non-Jewish prophet.
As the Jewish people moved from slavery in Egypt to their promised land in Canan, Balak king of Moab got so scared of their number and strength. Therefore, King Balak hired Balaam, a non-Jewish prophet, to put a curse on the Jewish people.
Before Balaam pronounced a curse on the Jews, God appeared to him and warned him as follows:
You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.
Numbers 22:12
3. God killed Haman, a Persian official who wanted to destroy all the Jews.
During the time of Xerxes [Hebrew: Ahasuerus], the Xerxes who ruled over 127 provinces stretching from India to Cush, his most senior official by the name of Haman hatched a plan to destroy all the Jewish people in all this great kingdom.
God looked from heaven and saw Haman’s evil plan and, as a result, God caused King Xerxes’s fury to rise up against Haman. Ultimately, Haman was hanged by King Xerxes.
Listen to what the Bible says about this incident:
Then Harbona, one of the king’s aides, said, “Sir, Haman has just ordered a 75-foot gallows constructed, to hang Mordecai, the man who saved the king from assassination! It stands in Haman’s courtyard.”
“Hang Haman on it,” the king ordered.
So they did, and the king’s wrath was pacified.
Esther 7:9-10
God will curse anyone who curses the Jewish people.
Therefore, this article serves as a warning to all those who hate and curse the Jewish people. The wrath of God is already upon your life, even though you may not realize it now.
