Dear reader, the heavenly angels are recording everything that happens in every home. Therefore, God’s curse falls on every home that throws away good food.
You are surrounded by people in need.
First, even if you live in an exclusive or posh area of your city, know that you are surrounded by people in need. You only need to drive a few minutes to see someone in dire need of food.
In fact, you may not even need to drive to see a desperate person because your security guard and his family may not have eaten well in several days.
God cursed this rich man for wasting food.
In Luke chapter 16, the Bible mentions a rich man who lived a luxury life everyday. This man ate in abundance at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
However, most of the food was wasted because he never ate it and never gave it to those who needed it like Lazarus who was always at his gate. As a result, God cursed this rich man’s home. In fact, this man ended up in hell.
While in hell, the rich man cried to God for deliverance from the tormenting demons and flames of fire. Unfortunately, as the Bible indicates, there was no good response from heaven.
If you have excess food, consider these options.
Therefore, you can consider the following options if you have excess food. First, consider donating extra food to people in need near you. If you have excess food on a daily basis, consider contacting a charity for daily deliveries.
Second, you can consider reducing your food expenses and donating your savings to hungry people.
Implementing any of these considerations will buy you God’s favor and, like Lazarus, you will spend the rest of your life in eternal happiness and luxury.
God’s curse falls on every home that throws away good food.
