Dear reader, do you often suffer from lack of sleep? I have good news for you. In this article, I show you how to fall asleep quickly without taking sleeping pills or psychotropic substances.
Meditate on God’s written Word.
The solution to lack of sleep is to meditate on God’s written Word in the Bible. I have tried this many times and it works perfectly. Get a list of about seven favorite scriptures and meditate on them one by one. Sleep will come quickly by doing this. You would be surprised.
Your favorite psalm.
If you don’t have any verses to memorize, I suggest you read your favorite psalm or Psalm 23 daily and then recite it in your mind while you sleep. My favorite psalm is 31, but Psalm 23 is one of the easiest to recite. If you meditate silently on your favorite psalm, rest assured that sleep will come quickly before you even reach verse 6:
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
By using this method, you will fall asleep quickly and enter the world of dreams. Meditating on God’s Word will not only allow you to fall asleep quickly, but also bring you into the heavenly presence of God to allow you to have beautiful dreams.
