How to fund God’s calling upon your life.

Dear reader, many individuals called into God’s ministry fail for one reason. They fail to get funding to answer Gods calling. The same thing almost happened to me at the beginning of this ministry more than twenty years ago. God’s calling was so strong on my life that I had no way out. I could not run away from God but I tried my best to do so.

One Sunday morning I decided to pray from a church different from where I and my family usually went. This church had an attendance of about 2,000 people. I sat at the very back of this congregation because I wanted to seek God personally through meditation for direction.

After worship and praise the preacher started ministering. His preaching was so anointed that soon he started giving words of prophecy for selected individuals.

Suddenly he looked at the very back where I was seated. It was a distance of about 200 meters from the pulpit where he was standing. Then he said, pointing to where I was seated:

You man, God is calling you to serve Him but you are still hesitant.

I thought he meant my neighbor so I looked at the man who was seated near me to verify if this Word of Knowledge was for him. The preacher quickly reacted insisting the Words were for me!

God is saying you know what you are supposed to do but you are refusing to answer His call, why?” He added. “Answer God’s call without delay.  I can see you writing, and writing, and writing….

These words were given to me more than 20 years ago!

This preacher was right. Fear of funding for God‘s calling had bogged me down. I was so afraid of entering into ministry for this reason.

God gives me revelation.

After these words of knowledge I decided to obey God. When I obeyed, God gave me a revelation about funding for his work. This revelation totally changed my life and I want to share it with you.

The two parables of Jesus.

In a vision, God gave me the two parables in Mathew 13:44 and  Mathew 13:45-46.

The Parable of the Hidden Treasure.

44Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Mathew 13:44

In this Parable, God compares your ministry calling to a treasure hidden in a field. God wants you to do whatever you can to see that you get this treasure out of hiding, even if it means selling your personal properties or getting loans.

The Parable of the Pearl of Great Price.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Mathew 13:45-46

In the Vision God gave me, He used this second parable to stress His point about funding for ministry. Your calling is like a beautiful pearl in the eyes of God. Go and do whatever is possible to see that you bring out your calling as God purposes it to be. This may mean making a lot of sacrifices. This is what I have done to answer God’s call on my life.
