How to prepare your life for Jesus Christ

Clear the way for Jesus.

To begin with, I usually drive on a road that is often used by the presidential motorcade. What I have noticed is that there is always a police car in front, about a kilometer away from the presidential motorcade, clearing the way for the president to arrive. In the same way, God sends this message to all Christians to clear the way for Jesus to come and dwell permanently in their hearts.

John the Baptist.

Before Jesus came on earth, God sent John the Baptist to clear the way for Jesus. John was like a lead police car alerting all road users to clear the way for the coming President.

 

I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,

says the Lord Almighty.

 

Malachi 3:1

 

Jesus wants to dwell within you.

Therefore, this message is to inform you in advance that Jesus Christ wants to come and dwell in your heart permanently. This is what the Word of God says:

 

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, ¹⁷ so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

 

 Ephesians 3:16-17.

 

Start clearing your life of all filth.

In the case of the presidential motorcade, as soon as other road users see the police car in front, they reduce their speed, move to the side of the road and come to a complete stop.

This is exactly what God wants you to start doing. Reduce the time you spend on your daily activities. Start focusing on Jesus who is about to come and live permanently in your heart. Change your habits and start doing the following:

1. First, start hating sin in all its forms.

2. Second, repent of your careless ways of living that may have displeased God.

3. Next, start pursuing righteousness in whatever you do.

4. Additionally, read God’s written Word in the Bible like never before, and implement what it says you have to do.

5. Also, increase the time you spend in prayer.

6. Sixth, every time you wake up, open your heart and ask Jesus to come and dwell within you.

7. Become an ambassador of Jesus Christ to free those who are still in darkness.
