Dear reader, are you lost, searching for truth and life? To be honest to you, Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life.
Listen to what our Lord Jesus said about himself:
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Jesus is the exclusive Path.
First, Jesus is not just one way, but the only way to connect you with God the Father.
Second, beyond being a means to an end, Jesus is also seen as the embodiment of truth and the source of life, offering a way to live a transformed life aligned with God’s will.
Jesus as a way of transformation.
Additionally, “The Way” signifies a journey of faith, a process of following Jesus, learning from him, and being transformed by his teachings and example.
Jesus contrasts with the Broad Way.
Why is Jesus Christ called the truth?
Jesus is God’s self-disclosure.
First, Jesus is the Word of God made flesh, revealing God’s character and will.
Third, Jesus’s sinless life, perfect obedience to God, and love for others demonstrate the truth of God’s nature.
Additionally, by knowing and following Jesus, individuals can be freed from the bondage of sin and deception.
Also, all truth originates from God, and Jesus, as God, is the source of all truth.
Why is Jesus Christ called the life?
First, according to the Bible, Jesus is the Creator and Sustainer of all life, both physical and spiritual. He is the origin and the foundation of life.
Third, Jesus demonstrated his power over death by resurrecting Lazarus and ultimately by his own resurrection. He is the “resurrection and the life,” meaning that he has conquered death and offers resurrection to those who believe in him.
