Dear child of God, of all the prayer positions, kneeling and bowing are the best for the four reasons I am going to give you.
These are the most humble positions.
First, these are the most humble positions. When a person humbles himself before Heavenly Father, God will exalt him. The Bible says that God will exalt everyone who humbles themselves. (James 4:10).
Our Heavenly Father feels very honored.
Second, kneeling and bowing gives the most honor to God. Our Father feels very honored and is very happy when you kneel or bow before Him.
Jesus Christ always knelt during prayer.
Third, the Bible tells us that in his private prayers, our Lord Jesus Christ always knelt whenever he prayed to our Heavenly Father. For example, in the Garden of Gethsemane, He withdrew a few steps from His disciples, knelt, and prayed (Luke 22:41).
Listen to what the word of God says:
On reaching the place, he said to them,
“Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”
He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed.
Luke 22:40-41
If Jesus knelt before our Father, who are we not to? Therefore, let us always imitate Jesus Christ.
Every knee must bow before Jesus Christ.
Fourthly the kneeling and bowing positions honor Jesus Christ most because it is written that God exalted Jesus to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth (Philippians 2:10).
Listen to what the Bible says:
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
Philippians 2:10
Therefore, when you kneel before God you also please our Lord Jesus Christ and fulgill what was written in the Bible.
Satan becomes angry.
Unfortunately, not everyone is happy when you kneel while praying. Satan and demons are very much annoyed and irritated when you kneel before God and Jesus Christ. They will fight those two positions by suggesting to you that:
God can hear you even when you are standing, or sitting.
Dear reader, do not listen to the Devil’s suggestions. During your prayers, especially private prayers, kneel down or bow down to honor our Father in Heaven and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Kneeling and bowing before God are the best.
