Dear reader, a sinning Christian can be attacked at any time in one way or another. See why a sinful Christian is an easy target for Satan and demons.
How the devil sees serious Christians in the spiritual realm.
To begin with, all Christians are not seen as being the same in the spiritual realm. Christians who are serious in their walk with Jesus Christ are seen differently. They are seen as soldiers putting on a complete plate armor similar to that of the ancient Roman soldiers.
As a matter of fact, the spiritual armour seen by the devil is articulated and covers a Christian’s entire body completely from neck to toe. This supernatural plate armour gives a Christian very good protection against demonic sword cuts, as well as against diabolical spear and arrow thrusts. Also, it provides decent defense against satanic blunt weapons.
These faithful Christians are seen wearing helmets that provide great defense against Satan’s direct blows from weapons such as demonic swords, arrows, or diabolical blunt objects, significantly reducing the risk of severe head injuries.
How sinful Christians are seen in the spiritual realm.
On the contrary, within the spiritual realm sinful Christians are seen putting on incomplete armor. Some don’t have helmets or breast armor; while others don’t have shields or military shoes. For this reason such Christians are an easy target for all sorts of demon attacks.
Put on the full armor of God.
Listen to what our Father in Heaven is telling all Christians:
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
