This supernatural miracle left me speechless!
Dear reader, if you think that everything you need has to be solved with cash, then you better read this true story of what happened to me. It is a story of surviving without cash.
God’s supernatural provision.
Before I present what happened to me, I would like to take you back to one of the most interesting miraculous accounts in the the Holy Bible. The book of 1 Kings chapter 17 mentions a man called Elijah. His wallet had completely run out cash, so he prayed to God for food and waited patiently for God’s answer. Soon God responded as indicated in the Scripture that follows:
Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: 3 “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. 4 You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.
1 Kings 17:2-4
Elijah obeyed God’s instructions and hid in the Kerith Ravine as God instructed him. While in hiding he was sckeptical about God’s promise. “Can God actually direct birds to bring provisions to a human being?” he thought. But God was faithful to his Word as indicated in the Scripture below:
So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.
1 Kings 17:5-6.
From this Bible account you can see that sometimes if you put your trust and hope in our Father in Heaven, you can actually survive without cash.
What happened to me.
Before I shifted to my current place of residence I used to live in a place that was not so secure. Most houses in this area had perimeter walls to prevent thieves from breaking into their homes. One day as I was leaving my home for work, I realized that one side of the perimeter wall to our residence had developed large cracks and was on the verge of collapsing.
I was worried because the affected side was near a big road that had many city pedestrians. After examining this wall, I realized that I had to build a completely new one. The problem was that I did not have any cash to put up a new wall.
My prayer.
I realized that I had no other option apart from praying to our Father in Heaven. So, I laid my hand on one of cracks in the wall and prayed like this:
Our Father in Heaven, look at this wall. It has developed bad cracks and it can collapse any time from now. Without it intruders may enter into our compound and house. Father, as you can see, I have to break this cracked wall and build a new one. My problem is that I do not have any cash to put up a new wall; it is for this reason that I am calling upon you, Father, to help me. In Jesus’s Name I pray. Amen.
After this prayer I left home for work hoping that I would get some cash miraculously. To my regret, the day ended without my getting any money for the new wall.
Something strange happened at home.
You may find some difficulty believing this, but it is the real truth. When I went back home after the day’s work, I found that the cracked wall had been completely knocked down from one corner to the other! I quickly ran out of my car, rushed into my house and asked my wife what happened to the wall. I want you listen to what she told me.
God’s miracles never cease.
My wife told me the following story:
About three hours after you left for work today one of the trucks belonging to a rich man in the city went astray near our house and rammed into the already cracked wall. The whole side, from one corner of the wall to the opposite one, went down. The driver immediately contacted the rich man who promptly came at the accident site. After inspecting our fallen wall he called me, apologized a lot; and committed himself to build a new wall for us in the next few days.
I got a new wall within three days.
The truck owner kept his word. Construction works started the following day, and within three days we had a completely new wall. It is from this experience that I can tell you with confidence that if you put your trust in God, you can sometimes survive without cash.
