Ten signs that a person is focused on entering heaven.
Dear reader, we live in a world where many things are unknown. First, you want to know more about someone near you, but you can’t. You want to know if the person next to you cares about heavenly things, but you can’t figure it out. In this article, I’ll give you some signs that show that a person is focused on heavenly things.
Anger.
First, if a person doesn’t get angry easily, know that this person’s heart may have a relationship with God.
Wickedness.
Second, if you see that a person doesn’t harm others, this person’s heart may be focused on Heaven.
Slandering others.
Third, if a person never makes false statements to harm others’ reputations, then this person’s heart may be focused on heavenly things.
Sexual purity.
Furthermore, if you find that a person avoids sexual immorality such as fornication, adultery, pornography, and strange sexual styles, then be sure that this person’s heart can be focused on God.
Telling lies.
Also, if you rarely hear someone lie, then be sure that this person’s heart is turned toward Heaven.
A merciful heart.
Sixth, if you see a merciful person, it is very likely that this person’s heart is in line with Heaven.
Forgiving others.
Also, if you find that a person forgives others easily, then be sure that this person’s heart is turned toward Heaven.
Greed for more wealth.
If you find a person with an intense and selfish desire to acquire more and more wealth without investing in the Kingdom of God, know that this person’s heart is turned elsewhere, not toward Heaven. Such a person will never be satisfied, even if God gave him the whole earth.
Stealing from another person.
Ninth, if a person is afraid of stealing, know that he fears God.
Evil desires.
Furthermore, if you realize that a person’s heart has evil desires, such as hurting another person’s feelings and doing things contrary to God’s written Word in the Bible, know that this person’s heart is not focused on Heaven.
Hating another person.
If you sense signs of hatred in a person’s heart, know that his attention is elsewhere—not on Heaven.
