Dear reader, sometimes our Heavenly Father may want a Christian to fast, but many do not understand the language of God. Therefore, this article presents to you a major sign that God wants you to fast.

Fasting is a Spiritual Weapon.

To begin with, we must understand that fasting is a great spiritual weapon. First, fasting humbles you before God. Our Heavenly Father always displays His power in individuals who demonstrate humility. This is exactly what our Lord Jesus Christ did. He humbled Himself so much, and being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death on the cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Jesus and given him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:8-11).

Second, fasting generates extraordinary supernatural power in your life. It is this unusual power in your life that repels Satan and all demonic forces. In fact, it is this supernatural power that breaks the chains that bind your life. This kind of power was manifested when Jesus Christ fasted for forty days and, as a result, he overcame all Satan’s temptations.

I didn’t know that God wanted me to fast, so He gave me this sign.

Once, I was facing many spiritual battles and God wanted me to fast, but I didn’t know the language of God. Moreover, I continued to eat as usual until something extraordinary happened. That morning, as I was about to sip my tea, an invisible force shook my right hand and the cup fell to the floor! Then I heard God’s voice in my heart commanding me to start a fast. As a result, this spiritual fast allowed me to overcome the spiritual battles.

This is the sign.

Considering the sign mentioned above, when you see something bad happening to the food you are about to eat, or to anything you are about to drink, most likely God wants you to declare a spiritual fast.
