Dear reader, I would like to share with you what the Lord showed me about the nation of Haiti. Violence in Haiti is not physical as the world believes.

No world army can end the war in Haiti.

First, my heart was saddened by the ongoing violence in Haiti, which is thousands of kilometers from my own country. Then I asked the Lord why Haiti continues to be unstable and violent, despite its history of numerous peacekeeping missions.

From the answer I received, I realized that violence in Haiti is more spiritual than physical. In fact, no global army can end the war in Haiti.

The war in Haiti is between God and Satan.

What many don’t realize is that the war in Haiti isn’t between gangs and government forces, nor is it between gangs and peacekeeping missions.

In reality, the war in Haiti is between the Kingdom of God and the realm of Satan. Actually it is between the invisible forces of darkness and God’s supernatural force of light. It’s a war that’s more spiritual than physical. Even if the United Nations mobilized all the world’s armies and sent them to Haiti, this violence would not stop.

The most recent BBC documentary on Haiti is shocking.

If you want to confirm what is mentioned in this article, you must watch the most recent BBC documentary on Port-au-Prince entitled: Return to the city ruled by Haitian gangs.

In this documentary, a BBC journalist met a gang leader nicknamed Vag, who wore hundreds of chains, necklaces, and rings.

This journalist asked Vag if his gang felt remorse for killing people.

To this question, Vag replied:

When we fight, we are possessed! We are no longer human! We become the devil! Do you understand?

The chains, necklaces, and rings I am wearing belonged to the people we killed. I wear them to command the spirits of the dead!

And there you have it! How could a normal human being fight such a person except if you are as well possessed by Satan? One can only confront such a gang member if you are are empowered by the Holy Spirit.

In fact, personally, if I were to go to Haiti as a soldier in a peacekeeping force, I would rely more on prayer than on my gun.

All Haitians must repent on behalf of their nation.

This is why our Heavenly Father desires that all Haitians repent. First, this nation must repent of its practice of voodoo, which is deeply rooted in Haitian culture and influences daily life, social structures, and even politics.

Second, Haiti must repent of all the violence committed, including bloodshed, rape, torture, theft, and sexual immorality.

What Haiti needs now is an army of prayer warriors and intercessors.

Therefore, considering the revelation mentioned above, as the world deploys more peace-keeping armies for Haiti, there is a great need to mobilise an army of spiritual intercessors for this beautiful nation. A spiritual army of God must be mobilized within Haiti itself.

In conclusion, if the people of Haiti want peace to their country, they have to do exactly what the inhabitants of the city of Nineveh did. They must turn away from evil and follow God’s ways.

More specifically, listen to what God’s written word in the Bible advises the people of Haiti to do:

Let everyone call urgently on God. Let them give up their evil ways and their violence. Who knows? God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.
