Dear reader, you are bringing upon yourself curses if you work on God’s rest day. This article shows that working on a Sunday will bring you many curses.
Sunday is the Lord’s day.
First, we must realize that of all the seven days in a week, God chose Sunday as His day (see Revelation 1:10). Our heavenly Father gave you six days in a week, but He set aside only one, which is Sunday, for Himself. Therefore, if you already have six days for yourself, why do you want to take the Lord’s Day as well?
Sunday is a holy day.
Second, we must realise that Sunday is a holy day. It is God who made this holy, therefore we must maintain this day as a holy one.
Listen to what the written word of God in the Bible says:
2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
Genesis 2:2-3
Therefore, if God has sanctified a day, why do you want to profane it? You will only reap curses for profaning what God has sanctified.
Sunday is God’s day of rest and yours too.
Second, the written word of God in the Bible shows that God worked for six days, then on the seventh day (Sunday) He rested. So, if God rests, who are not to rest for only one day.
Working seven days a week won’t make you very rich.
Furthermore, some people believe that working seven days a week (including Sunday) will make them very rich. However, this is a false assumption from Satan. If you observe Sunday as the Lord’s day, and with God’s blessing, working just a few days in a week can make you a multimillionaire.
Working on a Sunday will bring you many curses.
In conclusion, working on the Lord’s day (Sunday) will bring you many curses. In fact, it can lead you to poverty, and eventually into hell.
