Dear reader, let’s start with this true story. One day in the town where I grew up, I was about 14 years old and attended an elders meeting where a young man of about 17 years old was falsely accusing a local priest. This young man received a certain sum from this priest for the land he had sold in the name of the young man’s family. However, the young man denied having received this payment. The priest felt very embarrassed during this meeting because everyone believed this young man.
With a heart full of sorrow, the priest said:
Very well, God has been my witness and he will judge you.
Then the meeting ended.
About ten years later, a prominent businessman was murdered in our village. The family of this businessman failed to identify the assassins until they falsely accused the man who, fifteen years ago, had falsely accused the village priest!
Following this false accusation, this now adult man spent a year and a half in pre-trial detention! The judge later released this man after realizing he had been falsely accused!
This is the subject of this article. Your bad deeds will come back to haunt you.
Physical laws.
The world we live in has its own physical laws that govern everything you do. A good example is the Law of gravity.
God’s laws of reciprocals.
The laws of negative reciprocals says that when you do something bad, it will come back to haunt you in one way or another. Let us start with the Law of the sword. Jesus said that when you kill someone with a sword, you will also die by the sword (Mathew 26:52).
Cheating.
When you cheat your spouse, you will also be cheated in one way or another. If your spouse does not cheat on you, then someone may sleep with your young daughters.
Stealing.
Also, when you steal something, do not complain when you find out that a thief has stolen your property.
Malice.
When you malice someone be prepared for malice to descend on you or your children in one way or another.
Sabotage.
Furthermore, when you sabotage someone then be prepared for your life or that of your children to be sabotaged in one way or another
What God wants us to do.
God wants us to treat others like we want them to treat us. Listen to what the written Word of God says:
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Mathew 7:12
Your bad deeds will come back to haunt you.
